Ralf Schulz is the Managing Director of Schulz Attorneys and leads the firm with a blend of strategic vision and personal care. His legal expertise spans a broad spectrum — from commercial structuring to conveyancing and notarial services — and is grounded in his deep understanding of client needs, particularly in agricultural, property-driven, and entrepreneurial contexts.

Career Journey
After completing his B.Com Law and LL.B at the University of Pretoria, Ralf began his legal career at VDT Attorneys Inc., a fellow PH Group firm. Initially training in litigation, he soon found his stride in the commercial and conveyancing departments. He was admitted as an attorney, notary, and conveyancer during his second year of articles — a testament to his drive and capability.
In 2014, Ralf joined Schulz Wiesinger O’Dwyer Inc. as an associate in the commercial and conveyancing department.
In 2015 returned to the family firm, Schulz Attorneys, and in 2017 he took over as Managing Director. He has since expanded the firm’s footprint and service offering while maintaining its hallmark of personalised legal care.
Ralf works with clients across South Africa and abroad and currently serves on multiple boards of directors. He is especially passionate about helping agri-businesses, property owners, and SMEs establish legally sound, future-ready structures. Ralf is a member of the KZN FNB Exco Advisory Board and stands as the Africa Legal Head for Moore Global Legal.
In His Own Time
Ralf brings the same passion to his hobbies as he does to his legal work. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him golfing, hunting, fishing, enjoying nature, or playing trumpet in a German Oompah band.
